D2 of my Iceland Trip

Woke up this morning to a very gloomy day. It has also started drizzling. And today we are also off to one of our longest hike out of many planned hikes in Iceland. What a way to start our adventurous holiday! Our aim was to complete 14km of hike to see multiple waterfalls, gorges and stream. But, it was a miserable day. In the end we came short of 2.5km. The rain became more torrential and collectively as a group we decided to call it a day. We walked 6km and realised we had to turn back. We are trudged back soaking wet, despite wearing waterproof clothings. Even our shoes were fully-soaked. I was beginning to wonder why did I come all this way to Iceland for this hahaha…The highlight of our trip was that we were able to see many different waterfalls.
